Asha Pandya grew up in Ohio and earned a B.A. from the College of Wooster. Ms. Pandya went on to graduate from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond where she won numerous awards for her excellence as a trial advocate.
Ms. Pandya spent over a decade in the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office where she earned a reputation as a hard-nosed prosecutor who zealously sought justice. She handled hundreds of complex cases involving all types of violent crime including murder and gang-related crimes.
Ms. Pandya has another decade of experience as a defense attorney, where she routinely defended her clients with the same steadfast determination that made her a formidable prosecutor. She is a veteran of dozens of jury trials excelling at protecting her client’s rights by holding authorities accountable to achieve the best possible outcome.
Ms. Pandya over her career has become a highly sought-after instructor having taught attorneys and law enforcement personnel in seminars and continuing legal education classes.
