Jonathan Lopez was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at Regent University School of Law, where he focuses on immigration and criminal law.

Mr. Lopez has worked closely with immigrant communities through his internship with Commonwealth Catholic Charities, advocating for vulnerable individuals and assisting attorneys in complex legal matters. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in both French and Italian, enabling him to serve clients from diverse backgrounds.

At Protogyrou Law, Mr. Lopez supports the firm’s Criminal and Immigration Defense sections, contributing legal research, case preparation, and client advocacy.

Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys Formula 1, sports, movies, music, food, and travel. He also treasures quality time with his wife and their two dogs, Teddy, a cheerful teacup Yorkie who often accompanies him to the office, and Brooklyn, a devoted German Shepherd service dog trained in diabetic alert.

Jonathan’s approachable nature, linguistic skills, and dedication to justice make him a valued member of the Protogyrou Law team.
